Can I go from a curbside mailbox to a wall mount mailbox, and how would I do it?

is your mail delivered by a walking mailman or by truck?…. if it’s a truck, no, he’s not supposed to get out of the truck except to deliver a package….. and he prob won’t unless you have set it up with the post office already, citing illness or disability…. if you do go to the post office, they’ll see to it that you get service without having to go to the street….. if ….you are ill or disabled…

Contact the post office responsible for delivering your mail. You have to comply with THEIR rules. In most cases, they do EITHER curbside or door-side delivery. YOU don’t get to choose.

It all depends on the location you live in (house, apartment area, condo) and your mailman. You can also call and talk to the post office to see if it’s even allowed where you live.
