I like the key-n-lighter ideas suggested by others.
If that doesn’t work….
If you have an extension cord long enough to get to an outlet somewhere, try a hair dryer?

take a good lighter and heat up your key then try it.

Use a long snout lighter. If you can get the key in the hole, put it in and heat both the lock and the key. If not, heat the key and then put it in the lock. You might have to try several times. Then hat up the lock with the key in it.

Put your key in the mailbox as far as you can. Carefully hold a lighter near the handle of the key, and flick it on. The warmth of the lighter will heat the metal, and thaw the lock.
