remove lock from mailbox door?

I need to remove the lock on the door to my mailbox condo unit the key does not go all the way in so now I need to take the lock out and replace it. We own the home and the home assoc. say we have to do the work ourselves. I don’t have access to the backside. What is the best way to repair this?

Use a "BUMP KEY". (Google it)

    A locksmith should be able to help you. He/She will probably have to drill the old insert out and put a new insert in. That is what they did to mine when I lost the key.
