how to make a mailbox post?

Will my mailbox is broken .I want to know how to make a easy one . Without spending money .
will it not in front my house is like the otherside of the driveway but it close to our house . Do you know of anyplace that have one

Cheapest way is to buy a landscape timber and a piece of 6x12x3/4′ wood to mount the mailbox on. Check with the post office for the height and road clearance info.

    If you’re talking about a mailbox in front of your house, check with the Post Office first. They have requirements on the height of the box and its distance from the street (to make things easier for the mailman in the truck).
