My Little Mailbox offers free smiles to military children

"Oh, Boy!" he cheers and races in the house with his treasure.

It's just a simple envelope with a personal note and a few stickers, but to my son, on that day, it means the world.

Getting mail makes children feel important and special.  But how often do they receive anything outside of their birthday and holidays?  Everyone likes to get a unexpected "treat" every now and then.  Children are no different.

My Little Mailbox offers this feeling of excitement and joy to a very special group of children -- the boys and girls who wait while their parent (or parents) serve overseas.  Your donation and support can send a smile to one of these 'Little Patriots'.

For families with deployed service members, a dependent military child will receive a special envelope from My Little Mailbox that includes a letter from a favorite character or pen pal, a coloring or puzzle page, stickers and other goodies especially for your little patriot.  The deployed service-member parent will have the opportunity to include special message and choose from which pen pal or holiday character it will be.

It's a 'double smile' project!  The children will be excited about the unexpected treat, and the separated parent will feel good knowing they could provide such a special experience....across the miles.

 These personalized mailpacks are available at no charge to the family of deployed service members, but I count on any financial support to make this possible!  100% of your donation goes to covering the expenses of postage and materials.  Feel free to donate as little or as much as you'd like.  It only takes $6 to send a delivery to one child, but our goal is to send over 2,000!
