In the sims 2 .If i make my apartment in a residential lot how do i get the mailbox and a landlord"?

You need to change the residential lot into apartment lot by using a cheat. When you’re in residential lot of the apartment, open the cheat box (CTRL+SHIFT+C) and type in "changeLotZoning apartmentbase"..(without quotes). The mailbox will appear and now the residential lot has become apartment..and the landlord of course will come..

    when u make a house as soon as u move a family into the house , it automatically gets a mailbox and has an owner
